Rousseau Bubble Chair

Inspired by a love of automotive design and the sexy curves of a classic, Ben Rousseau gives this 1970s favorite a 21st-century makeover. This new take on the Bubble Chair gives you a sense of safety and regality with its ingenious use of framing, similar to an all-encompassing throne.

Ingeniously, it also means you can socially distance yourself in a public space such as a hotel lobby. And the metal framework guarantees it’s harder for bacteria to survive. You feel totally protected.

Made using precision CNC formed steel tubing and finished in a wide range of tactile finishes, our entry level editions feature a state of the art textured powder coating available in three finishes, Champagne Gold, Whispering Silver and Pearlescent White. Each frame comes with the choice of cushion upholstered in a department of transport approved perforated fabric in light or dark grey, or for outdoors, a Sunbrella exterior fabric in light grey.

The Bubble Chair is also available in a boudoir style design. With a sumptuous quilted velvet fabric cushion, it’s combined with a specialist stove enameled steel coated frame for a truly sensual experience.

The Ben Rousseau Bubble Chair is a statement piece that looks as striking in a hotel or office space as it does in a family dwelling. And it can offer you peace of mind as you immerse yourself in its soothing experience.

The Bat Cave, Holland Park

Bat Cave

This luxurious 3000 sq ft basement was transformed into the ultimate man cave and entertainment space. The owner wanted to showcase his exclusive collection of urban and fine art.

Located in a home in Holland Park, West London, he wanted the centerpiece to be his prized Aston Martin DB4. A polished black resin floor with 12 high powered laser beams creating an imaginary shield was installed to give the car pride of place in the space.

The design was inspired by Bruce Wayne’s very own bat cave located in the cellars of his fictional comic book mansion. However, the twist here is the bar, made from metallic silver tadelac plaster over a complex geometric framework. The vintage car can be seen by anyone savoring a drink.

The area also features giant ‘stalagmite and stalactite’ structures leading into the sauna and indoor swimming pool.

A snug area with custom lighting details and authentic 60’s VernerPanton bubble wall panels was added to provide drama and a futuristic setting.

Leather floor tiles soften the shiny hard surfaces and fully digital lighting control system incorporating over 100 light details and fixtures was included, designed with a highly user-friendly and efficient format.

A custom illuminated American black walnut pool table was designed to mirror the chamfered ceiling above.
