The Bat Cave, Holland Park

Bat Cave

This luxurious 3000 sq ft basement was transformed into the ultimate man cave and entertainment space. The owner wanted to showcase his exclusive collection of urban and fine art.

Located in a home in Holland Park, West London, he wanted the centerpiece to be his prized Aston Martin DB4. A polished black resin floor with 12 high powered laser beams creating an imaginary shield was installed to give the car pride of place in the space.

The design was inspired by Bruce Wayne’s very own bat cave located in the cellars of his fictional comic book mansion. However, the twist here is the bar, made from metallic silver tadelac plaster over a complex geometric framework. The vintage car can be seen by anyone savoring a drink.

The area also features giant ‘stalagmite and stalactite’ structures leading into the sauna and indoor swimming pool.

A snug area with custom lighting details and authentic 60’s VernerPanton bubble wall panels was added to provide drama and a futuristic setting.

Leather floor tiles soften the shiny hard surfaces and fully digital lighting control system incorporating over 100 light details and fixtures was included, designed with a highly user-friendly and efficient format.

A custom illuminated American black walnut pool table was designed to mirror the chamfered ceiling above.

Residential Interiors

6th Street

This enchanting Manhattan Beach Project is not your average beach house! It was designed to showcase an eclectic mix of modern art and exciting interior features.

A series of modern tiled fireplaces were created to be the centre piece of the entertaining room and master bedroom. The kitchen fireplace is mounted off the wall with recessed vertical LED lighting details to look like the fireplace floats off the wall on a beam of light.

Panelled feature walls in the guest bedroom , dining room and master bathroom all painted in matching colours to the walls create texture and dramatic shadow which has as much effect as an illuminated detail.

Statement furniture pieces such as the bar counter and matching DJ booth help command how the interior spaces are used.

A fibre optic chandelier is the real hero of the hallway once the day light drops and the house can reveal itself as and beautiful grown up entertainment space. But looks equally interesting in the daylight, owning the large void above your head as you enter the property.

Sumptuous materials have been used throughout in vibrant but non clashing colours to ensure this is a home to remember and excite. With an intelligent digital lighting control system, the property is fit for modern family life in the 21st Century.

Chiswick Quay, Chiswick

Chiswick Quay, Chiswick

All four floors of this 2200 sq ft quayside townhouse in Chiswick, west London, were gutted and modernized to bring it firmly into the 21st century. A family living space, the brief was to modernize the home with up to date fixtures and materials using a pure white color palette.

The kitchen, bathrooms, and four bedrooms were all given a complete overhaul. An illuminated porthole was introduced in the kitchen to allow extra light and sight to split level living space.

Digital lighting control was used in the master bathroom to stunning effect with an RGB illuminated shower, sink, and bath shelving area.

And the interior brick walls and timber ceilings were all painted white to allow for a more calm and clean feel for the main living areas.

The basement area was also converted. This was transformed into a guest bedroom and bathroom.

Custom furniture and fitting storage were introduced throughout the property with digitally controlled lighting to make it a functioning and fabulous family space.

Japan Town

Japan Town

This 1800 sq ft two-bedroom townhouse property in San Jose, California, was given a full modernization.

The owner wanted a consistent palette of birch ply detailing throughout the property. A modern kitchen, fireplace, new flooring, and staircase were installed.

Then the three bathrooms were revamped with fitting furniture and feature walls. A matching chandelier with fully custom home office and fitted murphy bed all in birch ply were added to match the customers’ second beachside home in Marin.

Black hardware, marble effect quartz, and illuminated details kept the material palette simple yet perfect for the European clients’ modern design tastes.

The complete recondition of this stunning tour bus started with a rear bedroom makeover. Digital RGB lighting system and details were added around the master bed. Leather headboard and mirrored ceilings added the glamour factor.

A spa tub, and fiber optic ceiling in the main living space made the interior cool enough for any major Rockstar.
