St Georges Square

Residential

St Georges Square

These two connecting buildings were turned into eight lateral luxury apartments in St Georges Square, Victoria, London.

Fully modernized bathrooms, flooring, and restored moldings were created to be sympathetic to the buildings’ historical nature and location.

The Two x two-floor penthouse apartments were the show stoppers with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light.

Modern fitted furniture and material palette were incorporated into the design to enhance the classic molding details and original staircase railings.

Digital lighting and TVs in every bathroom added a twist of technology so space could level up to modern professional living requirements.

Industrial pendants were re-wired with E27 fittings and large LED squirrel globe bulbs with sand blasted glass shades. Pendants were segmented into 3 zones so room can be illuminated and controlled so different functions can be pre set to work for the different uses the customer required. The space is used as a Pop-up restaurant for private dining experiences and also as a personal home for the owners.

Up/down LED wall lights were positioned to add interest on the wall below the cooler white LED strip lighting giving a halo effect on the timber joists running close to each wall. As the warmth from the brick and timber structures needed showing off we used different temperature lighting to add dimension and detail. Control is all via Rako digital per set wall switches and iPad/iPhone.
