“The Minds Eye”, Chelsea Flower Show

This gold medal-winning centerpiece for LDC at the World-renowned Chelsea Flower show is called “The MindsEye”.

Ben Rousseau Designs entered it as part of the garden for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.

The modern space incorporated a giant infinity artwork pit inside a glass water feature. This tricked anyone who entered into feeling they were standing over a giant tunnel.

The centerpiece lighting artwork worked against sunlight during the day. So it required nearly 200 x 10-watt hyper bright LED’s to meet the challenge.

It was awarded ‘Best Fresh Garden’ by The Royal Horticultural Society.
